The Corrado Abbati Company presents: ON THE BEAUTIFUL BLUE DANUBE
Music by Johann Strauss
Dramaturgy and direction by Corrado Abbati
Just over 150 years ago, Johann Strauss the younger wrote what would become the manifesto of an entire era: On the Beautiful Blue Danube.
More than a simple waltz, the symbol of a myth that still lives and renews itself, generation after generation: who doesn't know it? Who doesn't hum it?
An expression of good humor, of desire to live, to party. Here is a show full of joy and good humor, typical characteristics of one of the most important expressions of that era: the operetta!
A revue where the rhythm of the narration and the harmony of the melodic ideas unite and blend, in a sequence of cheerful and carefree episodes, the stylistic features of the theatrical expressions typical of the era: from comedy to operetta, from dance music to opera.
A show full of lightness and seduction where, dancing a whirlwind waltz, you can fall in love, because this is music that melts hearts and warms the soul.

Chiara Francini presents: FORTE E CHIARA
A show by and with Chiara Francini
Original music performed live by Francesco Leineri
Directed by Alessandro Federico
Effervescent and eclectic actress, but also writer and already co-host of Sanremo 2023 alongside Amadeus, Chiara Francini returns to the theater with a show that combines comedy and entertainment, between quotes, remakes, gags and clever humor, in a game of elegant contrasts.
A memoir, a living and revolutionary human story in which the actress retraces her life, unique and yet so similar to that of so many others: her childhood in the village, the grandparents she grew up with, the matriarchal family, adolescence, the path of a healthy and stubborn provincial girl, the current desire, fought and very much alive, to want to become a mother and the pride of being now and always someone different, strange, out of place, inadequate, a parvenue.
With the sarcasm and cutting irony that distinguish her, the protagonist tells her story through music, between personal and public events, always telling the truth, without making allowances for anyone, first and foremost for herself.

Claudio Casadio / Accademia Perduta present: ORESTE, WHEN THE DEAD KILL THE LIVING
A show by Francesco Niccolini
Illustrations by Andrea Bruno
Directed by: Giuseppe Marini
Oreste is interned in the Osservanza mental asylum in Imola. He was abandoned when he was a child, and from an orphanage to a reformatory, after thirty years he has not yet been released: he has specialized in always finding himself in the wrong place at the worst time.
Oreste has not been lucky, and in his past there are terrible events that he has repressed, but from which he cannot free himself. And yet, he is always cheerful, he sings, draws, never sleeps, writes to his girlfriend and always talks.
The show is a reflection on abandonment and denied love. On how life often does not give discounts and is merciless. And on how sometimes it is more difficult to go from Imola to Lucca than from Imola to the Moon.
Thanks to the hand of Andrea Bruno, one of the best Italian illustrators, a continuous interaction between theatre and animated comics comes to life on stage, where Orestes' dreams, his nightmares, his desires and the mistakes of a completely wrong life transform the scenography and the classical dramatic theatre into a kaleidoscope of presences that make an impossible journey between Imola and the Moon possible, through the desperate tenderness of the
